This tour was organized by Spice Roads, my favorite bicycle tour operator in Thailand and in many other countries in the Far East. It was based on their trip, North Thailand by Bike. After our trip was over, Spice Roads have decided to create a new trip based on our successful one, and they named it Chiang Mai to Chiang Rai by Bike. Tip: Add electrolyte tablets to your drinking water while biking in Chiang Mai

The weather in Thailand is extremely hot and humid and you are going to sweat buckets even if you're wearing loose-fitting, light-colored and thin fabrics.
To stay healthy in Thailand's tropical climate, add electrolytes to your drinking water. This will replace all the electrolytes you lose when you're sweating profusely.
